 The clinic was established to provide primary care health services to adult patients that have been displaced or laid off from Ford Motor Company and Visteon in the past 3 years and are without health insurance.

Monday and Thursdays 1 - 4 p.m.
Location
The clinic is located adjacent to the south parking structure, in the main hospital, on the first floor of the Atrium, within the Charlotte A. Woody Cancer Center (near the fountain).
Clinic Staff
Staffed by volunteer physicians from the Oakwood Hospital Medical Staff. To schedule an appointment or other information, please call 313.593.7817.
What to bring
- Driver’s license or picture ID
- Proof of previous employment at Ford Motor Company (severance papers, Ford ID, UAW card)
- List of medications that you are taking
Clinic Services
The clinic offers primary care services including a history and physical exams by a physician. Additional service may be scheduled by the physician if your medical condition warrants it.
Ancillary testing including radiology exams, blood work or more extensive medical care may not be services that are covered under this primary care service.
Additional necessary services will be scheduled in collaboration with the Oakwood OakAssist financial counselors. You will be informed of any additional costs that may be incurred due to necessary testing/treatment prior to scheduling it.
OakAssist
OakAssist is designed to help uninsured patients in meeting their financial obligations for care; providing assurance that the organization receives financial benefit for services rendered to self-pay patients. You can call and speak to an advisor to discuss the options that better fit your needs.

Pharmacy Services
If pharmacy medications are ordered by the physician during your visit, there is a low cost option that you may access in the Oakwood Pharmacy.
For a small annual fee, patient can have access to low-cost prescriptions by registering in the pharmacy located across the Atrium from the clinic.
