    Preventive Surgery for Cancer

In May 2013, Angelina Jolie went public about her decision to have a double mastectomy to lower her risk of breast and ovarian cancer. We have three Oakwood physician experts to discuss the health risk factors that might make a woman consider taking similar steps. Dr. Majd Aburabia is an Oakwood-affiliated breast surgeon based in Dearborn. Dr. Ian Lytle is an Oakwood-affiliated plastic surgeon at the Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Dearborn who also sees patients in his office in Ypsilanti. And, Dr. Thomas Meyer is a Dearborn-based obstetrician and gynecologist affiliated with Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center.
