In an effort to meet future needs and opportunities under national healthcare reform, Oakwood Healthcare Inc. (OHI) is in the process of creating a new organization with physicians that brings a broad range of providers together to keep patients healthy and reduce their critical-care needs through close coordination of care. This new organization will be an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and it will help solidify a stronger partnership between physicians and the healthcare system.

Oakwood’s Women’s Healthcare Classic supports women’s health

Oakwood’s 18th annual Women’s Healthcare Classic, raised over $275,000 to support Oakwood’s women’s health programs and services.
Held earlier this week at the Dearborn Country Club and Tournament Players Club, the Women’s Healthcare Classic is one of Michigan’s largest women’s golf events and has raised more than $4.4 million since it began in 1993.
