Oakwood brings human touch to new brand campaign


Oakwood Healthcare will launch a new branding campaign this week which will spotlight the compassionate, specialized care the regional health system provides to patients and their families.

Oakwood is working with Farmington Hills-based Duffey Petrosky on the new campaign, which will concentrate on promoting the reputation Oakwood has earned throughout the region for providing high-quality care with a personal touch.

“At Oakwood, we believe healthcare is actually about patients and the people who love them,” said Brian Connolly, President & CEO of Oakwood Healthcare. “It’s the essence of who we are. We bring the highest quality, most personalized care to our patients and their families. Duffey Petrosky recognized that and that message really sings in this new campaign.”

Several patient focus groups identified Oakwood as a community-centered healthcare system focused on compassionate care. Patients see Oakwood as a full-service, high-tech regional health system that also offers the personalized warmth and ‘human touch’ of a community hospital. The new campaign will bring Oakwood’s ‘We specialize in you’ philosophy and ‘Patients Come First’ credo to a new level. The campaign features Oakwood physicians and nurses in five new television ads, along with print, radio and outdoor advertising that will highlight the same message.

Mark Petrosky, CEO of Duffey Petrosky said he was excited about the partnership and appreciated the synergy between the two organizations.
