Oakwood manager honored by Michigan Physical Therapy Association

Rachel Atanosian, manager of rehab services at Oakwood – Dearborn, now has another award to add to her growing collection.

Atanosian was recently honored with the Norene Clouten Outstanding Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) Award from the Michigan Physical Therapy Association. The award acknowledges an individual who has made significant contributions to physical therapy clinical education through excellence in coordination of clinical teaching. She was notified of the award recently, and will receive it in October.

“I feel very honored to have received this award as I know there are many individuals throughout the State of Michigan who do excellent work in physical therapy clinical education,” she said.

Last year, Atanosian received the 2013 President’s Award from the Michigan Physical Therapy Association (MPTA), the highest honor given out by that organization.
