Oakwood doctors recognized for excellence in StyleLine Magazine

More than 50 Oakwood-affiliated doctors were named among the best in southeast Michigan recently.

In the March issue of Styleline Magazine, 52 oakwood physicians in 21 specialties were recognized in the annual list of 'Best Docs.' The list is generally trusted by consumers because it's produced by independent researchers—physicians cannot pay a fee to be listed, nor can they nominate or vote for themselves.

The list is compiled every two years by Boston-based Best Doctors, Inc., and based on an in-depth peer-to-peer survey. Physicians who have been honored with the 'Best Doc' distinction are essentially asked whom they would trust to care for their loved ones. Each nominated physician is then screened and asked to provide information about his or her practice.
