    LenSx Laser Cataract Surgery

The American Academy of Ophthalmology estimates that cataracts affect nearly 22 million Americans age 40 and older and by age 80, more than half of all Americans have cataracts. Oakwood Southshore is the first hospital in metro Detroit to offer cataract surgery using the LenSx laser surgery machine, and we’ll learn more about how this works and whether this might be an option for you. Dr. Reza Rahmani is an ophthalmologist affiliated with Oakwood who has offices in Brownstown.
