The Oakwood Southshore Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center located Downriver in Trenton, on the campus of
Oakwood Southshore Medical Center.
The surgery center is designed and operated by a team of skilled doctors, nurses, and professional staff who carry out Oakwood’s credo "Patients come first." From the moment of arrival for outpatient surgery until discharge, patients are treated with the utmost privacy and with the luxury of a first class "hotel" atmosphere. The waiting room greets the patients and their families with the ultimate comfort featuring overstuffed chairs and couches, large screen TV, children's play area, piped in music, daily newspapers, free coffee, snacks and soft drinks.
All patients are assigned a finely appointed private room accommodating stays of up to 23 hours. The rooms are equipped with rocking chairs, recliners, bench seats, TV, and DVD players.
The operating rooms are outfitted with the most advanced equipment to service all types of surgical procedures.
