  • Interventional Radiology - radiologic imaging guides tools through the body to diagnose and treat diseases without invasive surgery

    x-ray of the breast that can be used to help detect breast cancer
  • MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) - uses strong magnetic fields, radiofrequency pulses and computers to create  detailed cross-section images of the body
  • Nuclear Medicine - trace amounts of radioactive materials used to collect information about organ function
  • Ultrasound - uses high frequency sound waves to produce images of organs and tissues in the body
