Infusion Services

Oakwood Infusion Centers offer routine outpatient services for patients seeking treatment for cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and other diagnoses. Our services are available by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital and Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center.

IV Medication therapy
Chemotherapy infusions
Refill and maintenance of port pumps
Antibiotic therapy
Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
IV fluid hydration
Venous access device irrigation
Implanted venous access device declotting
Therapeutic phlebotomy
Blood transfusion

What to Expect
A quiet, intimate atmosphere with fully reclining chairs and personal attention from our dedicated nursing staff. We offer lunch service for those staying for longer infusions and wireless computer access. Televisions are also present for your viewing pleasure.

What to Bring

A complete list of your medications, including the drug names, dosages and the time(s) you take them
A complete list of your medical history as well as your surgical history
Insurance cards and drivers license
Insurance referrals and/or authorizations

Book/newspaper to read
Knitting/crochet materials
DVDs
Laptop Computer
Comfortable clothes
A sweater (if you tend to get chilly)
