Nursing orientation for Oakwood Healthcare provides nurses with individualized instruction consisting of classroom training (3-5 days) and clinical component (4-12 weeks depending on the specialty). The orientation program supports the staff nurse's performance of job duties. Orientation to specialty service excludes additional classroom hours, the use of simulation manikins and unit specific clinical experiences.
