Speech Therapy

As part of Oakwood's comprehensive rehabilitation program, Speech Pathology and Audiology Services are available to individuals on an inpatient and outpatient basis.  Upon referral from a physician, certified speech pathologists and audiologists perform evaluations and treatment on adults and children who have hearing, balance, communication and/or swallowing difficulties.  In addition, the audiologists within Oakwood perform hearing aid evaluations and are licensed to distribute hearing aids. Services are available at specific Oakwood Healthcare System facilities and are dependent on the specific need and diagnosis of the individual.
