Babies and Addiction
Each hour on average, a baby is born addicted to prescription drugs. This is according to a report published recently in the Journal of the American Medical Association, which estimates that the number of babies born this way has nearly tripled in the last ten years. On the program to talk about his experience with this trend was Oakwood-affiliated neonatologist Dr. William Clark. Dr. Clark is part of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Oakwood Hospital & Medical Center in Dearborn.
